2009-2010 UPDATE

I'm in the process of applying for my Master's of Fine Arts at various grad schools. It's not a fun experience, it's confusing, nerve racking and a host of other adjectives I'm not articulate enough to put here. Enjoy!

OY VEY

Sorry I've been away folks,having a life is hard work! I know I know, I should professional and continue to update this. I ALSO was talking into having a tumblr website,yet ANOTHER networking site I have to update and make look cute,who has time?!

I'd appreciate a new camera,all my photos have these weird funky lines in them now but I will post them before I leave school for home in AAC. Until then,enjoy some of my drawings from the sketchbook!

Current Projects

Some things I've been working on since the Snowpocalypse hit the DMV area. Every monday I need to have something to show for Critique and I was supposed to sell my work at the Black Heritage Festival but the date keeps being moved (till April) I think. These are all pieces from my 2009 Life Drawing Class. The last two are charcoal and the first two were done with sharpie markers. I believe I have more work to photograph and post. Keep drawing and painting out there!

Professionalismness-type-stuff

Long Over Due Post

I guess I could say something like "oh what a crazy year 2009 has been",but everyone says that. I'm just too lazy and too busy to update all my art and post it (haha) Happy New Year. Keep painting and sculpting!

This was a painting of a hare that I completed in my Painting 1 class during my freshman year at the College Of Notre Dame (07-08). It was done in oil paint; grisaille (a black and white underpainting) and then a color glaze on top of the grisaille.
